Salary: £30,000 - £42,000 (dependent on experience)

Are you a passionate and resilient Special Needs Teacher with a heart for making a difference? We are looking for an exceptional educator to join our dedicated team at a specialist school in Coventry supporting children and young people with Autism and Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
About the Role:
This is a unique opportunity to work in a highly supportive, therapeutic environment tailored to meet the complex needs of pupils aged 7-16. You will lead a small class, delivering creative and personalised learning experiences that promote academic growth, emotional development, and life skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver tailored lessons in line with EHCP targets
Create a structured, nurturing classroom that encourages emotional regulation and self-confidence
Work collaboratively with TAs, therapists, and external professionals
Track progress and celebrate every success, big or small
Maintain high standards of safeguarding and inclusive practice
The Ideal Candidate:
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
Experience working with children with autism and/or SEMH needs
Strong behaviour management and trauma-informed practice
A reflective, compassionate, and adaptive teaching style
Commitment to teamwork and whole-child development
