Ark St Alban's Academy in Birmingham is seeking a Teacher of SEND with specialist KS1/KS2 expertise to teach pupils with complex needs. The role involves planning personalised lessons, differentiating content, and contributing to support plans within a multidisciplinary team.
The successful candidate will have QTS, a relevant degree, and ongoing SEND professional development, working in a school serving diverse pupils in central Birmingham.
The Teacher of SEND will have specialist expertise in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 curricula and significant experience of teaching pupils with complex and high needs SEND, including those with autism, communication and interaction needs, cognition and learning difficulties, sensory needs and social, emotional and mental health needs.
