SEND LSA / TA / SEND Support / Youth Worker – Special Needs Schools | Start ASAP!

If so, we are looking for enthusiastic and compassionate individuals to join a special needs school as a SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA), Teaching Assistant (TA), SEND Support Worker, or Youth Worker!
As part of the SEND support team, you will work with students aged 3-19 who have a range of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Physical Disabilities (PMLD).
Providing 1:1 and small group support to students with SEND
Encouraging engagement & interaction through tailored learning activities
Helping to manage behavior using positive strategies
Using sensory play, visual aids & communication tools to support learning
Supporting students’ emotional and social development in a nurturing way
Working closely with teachers, therapists & parents to provide holistic support
Passion for helping children with special needs thrive
A patient, empathetic & energetic approach to learning support
Ability to work as part of a supportive and dedicated team
No school experience required! Graduates, youth workers, care assistants & support workers welcome!
Full-time hours (Monday – Friday, school hours)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
