If so, we are looking for dedicated and compassionate individuals to join a special needs school as a SEND Learning Support Assistant (LSA), Teaching Assistant (TA), SEND Support Worker, or Youth Mentor!

About the Role:

As part of the SEND support team, you will be working closely with students aged 3-19 with a variety of needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and Physical Disabilities (PMLD).

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support to help students access learning
Use creative approaches to keep students engaged and motivated
Support students’ emotional and social development in a nurturing environment
Assist with behavior management using positive and proactive strategies
Work closely with teachers, therapists & families to ensure the best outcomes
Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students

A passion for supporting children and young people with SEND
A patient, caring, and proactive approach to learning support
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
No prior school experience needed! We welcome graduates, care assistants, youth workers & support workers looking to transition into education

Monday – Friday (School Hours) | Full-time role
