Job summary

Prospero Teaching in Wakefield, West Yorkshire, is partnering with a specialist school to recruit a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) to support students with SEN, including autism and SEMH. The role is full-time and long-term, starting ASAP, with a 8:30am to 3:30pm schedule, and a daily rate of £90-£120 depending on experience.

You will provide 1:1 and small group support, assist in meeting EHCP goals, work with the SENCO, and help create an inclusive, supportive learning

Qualifications

Rate: £90 - £120 per day (dependent on experience and responsibilities)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm

What We're Looking For

  • Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
To Be Eligible, You Must
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK.
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or be willing to process a new application.
  • Provide two professional child-related references.
