Job summary

Axcis Education is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant in Croydon to support pupils with a range of SEND, including Autism, ADHD, language needs, and learning difficulties. You will work with the class teacher and SENCO to provide one-to-one and small group support, helping targets and goals be met.

The role involves safeguarding duties; DBS via Update Service or willingness to obtain one, and a patient, caring approach.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children with SEND is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with SEND.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to provide one-to-one and small group support, helping pupils to achieve their full potential in a positive and inclusive learning environment.
