Job summary

Leeds City College is recruiting 3x SEND Support Workers for the Future Pathways department. The role runs 39 weeks per year at 37 hours per week, with a pro rata salary (£23,902 to £24,505).

You will support students with learning and cognition difficulties, delivering tailored interventions and working closely with teachers and High Needs staff to help learners achieve EHCP targets. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with curriculum team, managers and High Need leads to deliver targeted support.
• Assist in lessons, plan/assess, and support in workshops, work placements and excursions.
• Use positive intervention strategies to manage behaviours and emotional needs.
• Deliver personal, physical, and medical care as required.
• Monitor attendance, contribute to progress reviews and maintain logs.
