We are seeking two dedicated and experienced SEND Support Leads to join our dynamic team and help make a meaningful impact on students' lives.

Role Overview

As a SEND Support Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring students with SEND receive the tailored support they need to thrive. Working closely with the SEND team, you will provide full school-based operational management support to the SENDCo, ensuring consistently high-quality SEND provision that positively impacts student outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Support the SENDCo in leading and managing SEND provision across the school.
  2. Manage the SEND team to raise standards of achievement and progress for SEND students.
  3. Lead the tracking, monitoring, and implementation of interventions to support SEND and vulnerable learners.
  4. Liaise with parents, caregivers, and external agencies to coordinate support services and planning.
  5. Monitor and evaluate student progress, making adjustments to support plans as needed.
  6. Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and school policies related to SEND.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Proven experience in a SEND support role within an educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators and support staff.
