Shireland Collegiate Academy Trust is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support secondary students in their learning journey. This role involves working with individuals and small groups to ensure inclusion and promote effective learning. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, motivation techniques, and a passion for enhancing student achievement in a supportive educational environment.
HOURS: 36 Hours per week (8:30am-4:30pm Monday and Tuesday and 8:30am-4pm Wednesday to Friday), term time + 2 weeks

To work with individual and small groups of students to promote their inclusion and to provide support for teaching and personalised learning.
The post holder should have experience of working with secondary school age students to support their learning and be able to demonstrate their ability to motivate students. Have a secure understanding of the learning process and what motivates young people in their learning. Have excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build relationships with people of all ages and backgrounds.
