Job summary

The Buckingham School in Buckingham is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support students with SEND in the KS4 study base, helping create an inclusive learning environment.

You will work as part of a team, assist with First Aid when required, and contribute to weekly pupil progress reports while liaising with the SENDCO and teaching staff.

This is a permanent, full-time role during term time, with standard hours and some flexibility to discuss at interview.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND is desirable.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate with staff and parents.
• Flexibility and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support the study base and coordinate the KS4 SEND space.
• Assist with First Aid when required.
• Prepare weekly reports on pupil engagement and progress.
• Liaise with the SENDCO and Class Teacher.
• Support pupils to access the curriculum.
