YardandGroom is seeking an Education Programme Supervisor to lead the day-to-day equine education programme and coordinate staff. The role focuses on learners' safety, wellbeing and progress through personalised horse-based learning and qualifications.
You will supervise sessions for young people with additional needs, ensure safeguarding is central, assist with horse care and yard activities, and maintain records and reports for EHCP reviews. Term-time, permanent post with pro rata FTE.
£30,000 FTE pro rata | Permanent | 35 paid hours per week term time.
We seek an experienced equine professional with patience, warmth and a genuine interest in helping young people develop through relationships with horses. Small groups and individual learning allow close attention to each learner’s needs and progress.
Our therapeutic, person-centred and horse-centred environment values kind horsemanship, learner wellbeing and horse welfare. Our focus is learning, confidence and personal development rather than competition or performance sport.
Supervise the day-to-day education programme, coordinating staff and activities and ensuring learners’ safety, wellbeing and safeguarding. Deliver personalised equine learning and vocational qualifications, with assessment where appropriately qualified.
Strong professional equine experience and an appropriate qualification route: Level 4+ equine qualification, recognised equestrian coaching qualification, relevant degree and/or relevant assessing qualification. These are alternatives; applicants do not need all qualifications listed. An assessor qualification is desirable, not mandatory.
