Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a Further Education agricultural college in Warwick to appoint an Equine Lecturer on a part-time, temporary basis. You will deliver engaging lessons to students up to Level 3, covering equine care, management and industry practices while monitoring progress and maintaining a positive learning environment.

The successful candidate will hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in an Equine subject (teaching qualification desirable) and bring experience in the equine

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Further Education agricultural college based in Warwick, who are looking to appoint an Equine Lecturer. The college provides specialist vocational education, offering students the opportunity to develop their knowledge and practical skills within the equine industry.

The college is looking to take on an enthusiastic Equine Lecturer on a part-time, temporary basis, starting as soon as possible. The successful Equine Lecturer will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students studying up to Level 3, supporting their understanding of equine care, management and industry practices whilst monitoring progress and maintaining a positive learning environment.

The successful Equine Lecturer will have:

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in an Equine related subject (essential)
• A recognised teaching qualification (desirable)
• Experience working within the equine industry or delivering equine education
• Strong subject knowledge of equine care, welfare and management
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A positive, adaptable approach with a passion for supporting student development
