Job summary

SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting a qualified SEND Teacher to join a highly inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets, working within the Specialist Resource Provision to support pupils with a range of complex SEND needs in a nurturing and structured learning environment.

You will plan differentiated lessons, support communication and emotional development, and work closely with Teaching Assistants to monitor progress and adapt strategies. A QTS and SEND experience are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience supporting or teaching pupils with SEND
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• A patient, nurturing and adaptable approach
• Commitment to inclusive education

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
• Support pupils' communication, independence and emotional development
• Work closely with Teaching Assistants and the SEND team
• Monitor progress and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
• Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
