Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant for a Leeds setting working with children and young people with complex needs. The role starts in September and offers daily pay in the £100–£110 range, on a contract basis.

You will support pupils with bespoke learning plans, adapting your approach to individual needs and working closely with teachers to promote confidence, independence and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children/young people with complex needs.
• Experience in SEND or specialist education settings.
• Patient, resilient and supportive approach.
• Ability to adapt support to meet individual needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
