Job summary

Morgan Hunt UK Limited in East London is seeking a Specialist Learning Support Assistant to support learners with SEND, including complex needs and personal care.

You will work with teachers, therapists, and families, provide one-to-one and small group support, administer medications, assist with PEG feeding, and promote independence. This role is full-time or part-time, with pay £18-£23 per hour, enhanced DBS required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with SEND in educational or care settings.
• Proven experience administering medications.
• Experience with PEG feeding.
• Experience using moving and handling equipment safely.
• DBS check and safeguarding awareness.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to learners with SEND.
• Assist with personal care routines and dignity.
• Support mobility using wheelchairs and hoists.
• Administer medications following plans and procedures.
• Carry out PEG feeding safely and correctly.
• Maintain accurate learner care and medication records.
• Work with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure best outcomes.
• Adhere to safeguarding, health, safety, and infection control.
