The Park Academies Trust is looking for Teaching Assistants to join its Complex Needs Provision at The Deanery CE Academy in Swindon. The role supports teachers and pupils, with confidential work across the curriculum in a dynamic, supportive Trust environment.
Salary ranges from £24,522 to £25,600 FTE (pro rata £18,440–£19,250). Hours are 32.5 per week, term time only. Start ASAP; closing date September 2026, rolling applications.
Due to the expansion of our Secondary Complex Needs Provision, The Park Academies Trust is seeking several exceptional and motivated Teaching Assistant to join our new Complex Needs team. Location: Based at The Deanery CE Academy
Salary range: Trust grade 1-7 (£24,522 - £25,600 FTE) (£18,440 - £19,250 pro rata actual salary) - depending on experience
Hours: 32.5 per week Monday - Friday (Term time only)
Start date: ASAP

The teaching assistant in these roles will work closely with and report to the complex needs provision leadership team. The role of the TA is to support the teacher, individual and groups of secondary children across the curriculum working in the unit, as directed by the teacher. The teachers will provide all the necessary planning. It cannot be stressed enough that this post involves work which can be of a highly confidential nature.
