Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is supporting an SEND Schools Commissioning & Delivery Lead to drive the development of new SEN educational facilities, guiding pre-opening activities and mobilising operations across the South East of England.

Based in Bromley with some travel to South East England, the role requires experience in commissioning and project delivery within education or children’s services, and strong stakeholder engagement with regulatory awareness.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex projects in education, SEN, social care or related fields.
• Strong understanding of SEND legislation, commissioning and regulatory processes.
• Excellent organisational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day to day project management across planning, design, regulatory submissions and mobilisation.
• Coordinate feasibility studies, timelines, risk logs and delivery plans.
• Work closely with architects, contractors, local authorities and internal teams.
• Support the development of operational frameworks, staffing models, policies and systems.
• Ensure compliance with SEND Code of Practice, safeguarding requirements and Ofsted expectations.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports and readiness assessments.
• Support pre-opening activities.
• Ensure each school project is delivered on time, within scope and to the required quality standards.
