Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is assisting a Bromley-based client to appoint a SEND Schools Commissioning & Delivery Lead. You will steer pre-opening activities, bridging education strategy, infrastructure and pupil placement for SEND across South East England.

Ideal candidates will have proven experience commissioning and delivering education projects, with strong knowledge of SEND legislation and Ofsted expectations. The role requires travel and a 40-hour week in a permanent position.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex education/SEN projects.
• Strong knowledge of SEND legislation and Ofsted requirements.
• Ability to manage multi-agency partnerships and regulatory processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management across planning, design, regulatory submissions and mobilisation.
• Coordinate feasibility studies, timelines, risk logs and delivery plans.
• Work closely with architects, contractors, local authorities and internal teams.
• Support development of operational frameworks, staffing models, policies and systems.
• Ensure compliance with SEND Code of Practice, safeguarding requirements and Ofsted expectations.
• Prepare project documentation, progress reports and readiness assessments.
• Support pre-opening activities and ensure on-time delivery within scope and quality.
