Job summary

Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant in the Bromsgrove area for a full-time, ongoing position. Start is immediate and the role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm, with a daily pay rate of £92.63.

This temporary role requires an enhanced DBS and supports pupils aged 4–19 with a range of SEND in a calm school setting. You will work closely with students, provide personalised support, and help maintain a safe, positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children or young people, particularly within SEND settings.
• Confidence supporting pupils with additional or complex needs.
• Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills.
• A patient, compassionate, and resilient approach.
• Willingness to provide personal care support when required.
• An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one.
• Full availability to work Monday to Friday during school hours.

Salary / Pay Rate will be dependent on your skills and experience.
