Job summary

Wychall Primary School in Birmingham, part of drb Ignite MAT, seeks an experienced teaching assistant to join the resource base. The post focuses on supporting pupils with SEND, especially communication and interaction needs including autism, and delivering bespoke provision alongside resource base staff.

You will work closely with staff and the wider school community to help pupils achieve the best outcomes, apply targeted strategies, and contribute to an inclusive school culture.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in primary or Early Years settings.
• Proven ability to implement strategies that support positive pupil outcomes, including autism.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with resource base staff and school community.
• Help deliver a bespoke provision that meets pupils' needs.
