Job summary

Meadgate Primary School is seeking a qualified teacher with experience of teaching pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) for a role in our new SEND hub provision. You will deliver teaching and learning and promote a culture that supports SEND pupils.

Reporting to the SENDCo, you will adapt teaching across year groups, observe and assess pupils, promote wellbeing, liaise with families and professionals, and ensure compliance with school policies and safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with experience teaching pupils with SEND.
• Experience in delivering learning in a SEND hub or equivalent.
• Ability to observe, assess and plan for students with SEND.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day delivery of outstanding teaching to pupils with SEND.
• Adapt teaching and learning across year groups to support progress.
• Implement curriculum to promote wellbeing and overall development.
• Observe, assess and create plans for students with SEND.
• Advise and consult with professionals for annual reviews and One Plans.
• Support learner accessibility and promote equality, diversity and inclusion.
• Safeguard and promote welfare of children; adhere to policies and confidentiality.
