Job Details

• Location: The Holden School, Leigh WN7 4SB
• Salary: Up to £37,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications, not pro rata)
• Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (specific timings provided)
• Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

About the Role

As a Primary SEND Teacher, you will employ creative teaching methods tailored to pupils' educational needs, ensuring effective curriculum delivery that maximizes achievement and development. Essential Requirements

• Degree in relevant subject
• PGCE or equivalent
• UK QTS (fully qualified teachers only)
• Experience teaching a wide range of learners from early years through primary, including core Maths and English

Skills & Knowledge

• Experience teaching students from age 7 up to KS2 levels
• Strong knowledge of core subjects
• Planning, delivery, and assessment skills
• Ability to monitor progress and provide feedback

Additional Duties

• Managing student timetables and needs
• Drafting and updating ILPs
• Participating in EHCP reviews and reporting
