Job summary

Broomfield South SILC seeks an enthusiastic teacher to join the Future Steps Hub, a Post-16 provision at White Rose Business Park. You will plan personalised learning for 16–19 learners with SEND, combining academic work with preparation for adult life.

You will collaborate with job coaches and external partners to create authentic learning experiences and broaden learners' horizons. The role emphasises independence, practical outcomes and meaningful accreditation, within a supportive team

Responsibilities

• deliver an ambitious and engaging Post-16 curriculum
• develop learners' independence, communication and self-advocacy
• prepare learners for employment, further education and adulthood
• work alongside job coaches and external partners to create authentic learning experiences
• maximise opportunities within the local community
• support learners to achieve meaningful accreditation
• work closely with families and multi-agency professionals to secure positive long-term outcomes.
