Job summary

Wolsingham Primary School in Bishop Auckland is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support one-to-one a child with SEND in the Nursery. The role is 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8.45am-11.45am, term time only plus two weeks.

Close collaboration with teachers, patience, and clear spoken English are essential. Applicants must meet Early Years qualifications and be able to contribute to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Must hold a qualification meeting the approved ‘full and relevant’ criteria for Early Years qualifications.
• Ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Work one-to-one with a child with SEND in Nursery.
• Support Nursery learning activities and routines.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to support all learners.
