Job summary

The Education Network seeks a qualified teaching assistant to work 1-2-1 with children with SEND in a Consett partner school. You will be required to provide dedicated support to pupils with additional needs and assist the class teacher in daily activities.

Applicants should hold a recognised TA or Nursery Nurse qualification and have recent school experience. The Education Network offers flexible full-time or part-time positions across the North East, with immediate registration appointments

Qualifications

• Experience working 1-2-1 with children with SEND.
• Must hold a recognised Teaching Assistant or Nursery Nurse qualification.
• Recent school experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support to children with SEND.
• Assist in small group activities and interventions as directed by the teacher.
• Support the class teacher with classroom routines and behaviour management.
