Weston College is seeking a motivated SEND Mental Health Officer to support learners with SEND and associated mental health needs, helping them become more independent and achieve sustainable outcomes. The role focuses on inclusive practice and curriculum adaptations across campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
The post is full-time, 37 hours per week, with the option for term-time only (38 weeks per year). Interviews will be on-site at a Weston-super-Mare campus.
The college is seeking to appoint a motivated and innovative SEND Mental Health Officer to work with learners with a range of learning barriers/SEND and associated mental health needs; to support them to develop their independence and achieve sustainable outcomes.
The role will be crucial to enable the sharing of best practice and to encourage inclusive practice approaches and curriculum adaptions, including modifications to delivery and imaginative ways of teaching.
This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.
Whilst this is an all-year round position, we are open to applications from people who wish to work term-time only, on a 38 weeks per year basis.
Interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.
