Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a specialist SLD school in Basildon to recruit a dedicated SEND LSA for a long-term, full-time role starting in September. You will work closely with teachers and therapists to support pupils with Severe Learning Difficulties, helping deliver engaging activities and promoting communication and independence.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND, particularly SLD.
• Caring, patient and adaptable approach to supporting pupils with complex needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to get involved in all aspects of school life.
• Relevant SEND experience or qualifications would be advantageous.

Responsibilities
