Job summary

Morgan Hunt is recruiting a SEND Lecturer to support learners with additional needs at a Further Education college in Essex. The role involves planning and delivering inclusive lessons, adapting resources and monitoring progress against EHCP targets.

Collaboration with Learning Support Assistants and college teams is essential to help learners build communication and independence in a safe, supportive setting.

Responsibilities

• Help learners develop communication, independence and skills for adulthood.

SEND Lecturer - Essex

Morgan Hunt is working with further education colleges in Essex seeking SEND Lecturers to support learners with additional needs.

If you have experience delivering inclusive, engaging lessons and supporting learners to develop their confidence and independence, we would love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to learners' individual needs and abilities.

Requirements:

• A recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching learners with SEND, ideally within further education.
• Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills.
• A learner-centred approach and an understanding of safeguarding.
• An Enhanced DBS covering the relevant workforce, ideally registered with the Update Service.
