Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced SEND Learning Support Practitioner to support learners with SEND in a school setting. You will work with teachers, therapists, healthcare professionals and families to help learners access education and develop independence.

Main duties include one-to-one and small-group support, personal care, medication administration (including PEG feeding), moving and handling, and maintaining accurate records while following

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting learners with SEND.
• Ability to provide personal care and support complex needs.
• Experience administering medication and PEG feeding.
• Knowledge of moving and handling procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to learners with SEND.
• Adapt support strategies to meet individual needs and promote engagement.
• Deliver personal care, assist with mobility and daily activities.
• Administer medications and monitor wellbeing per plans.
• Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures.
• Collaborate with staff and external professionals to support outcomes.
