Job summary

Elmtree Grove School is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Learning Support Mentor for SEND needs in Bristol. Role involves supporting primary-aged learners with SEMH, trauma, ADHD and ASC, during term-time only, 8:30am-4:00pm, Mon-Fri.

The position is temporary with potential to go permanent, reflecting experience and performance. The school opened in 2024 in Fishponds, Bristol, building on the success of the Elmtree Learning Partnership sites since 2022.

1:1 Learning Support Mentor - SEND: SEMH, trauma, ADHD, ASC

• Location: Fishponds, Bristol
• Start date: ASAP/September 2026
• Type: Temp-to-perm
• Hours: 8:30am - 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only
• Salary: £15.90 - £17.88ph during trial (£20,000 - £22,600pa perm equivalent) - experience dependent

Our new independent special school for primary-aged learners (KS1, KS2 + Yr7) opened in September 2024 in the Fishponds area of Bristol and we're continuing to recruit to our staff team.

Elmtree Grove School opened based on the successes of learner outcomes at our 10 Elmtree Learning Partnership sites since 2022
