Monoux College is recruiting an Additional Learning Support Assistant (Term time only) to support students with SEND in class, helping them develop academic and personal skills to become more independent learners.

In this role you will collaborate with Guidance Advisors, the safeguarding team and counsellors, feed into termly reviews, and assist during busy periods with entry periods and exam cycles as required.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with SEND.
• Knowledge of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCP).
• Ability to help SEND students become independent learners.

Responsibilities

• Support SEND students in class and help develop academic and personal skills.
• Collaborate with Guidance Advisors, safeguarding team and counsellors.
• Maintain accurate records feeding into termly student reviews.
• Contribute during busy periods to entry periods or exam cycles when needed.
