Job summary

Bourne Primary School in Middlesex is seeking a SEND Learning Support Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a specific child in KS1. You will help the pupil access the curriculum and support behavioural and social development, under the guidance of teaching staff.

The role is 20 hours per week, term time (38 weeks), with a specific purpose contract starting 2 November 2026. Salary scale 2 (£13,365–£13,556) dependent on experience.

We are looking for someone to support children awaiting diagnosis in KS1. The successful candidate will be expected to facilitate learning by supporting the children to access the curriculum, as well as assisting in their behavioural and social development.
