Job summary

Thameside Primary School is seeking a SEND Learning Support Assistant to work with pupils with Special Educational Needs, supporting learning and safeguarding within a cooperative school community.

The role is 30 hours 50 minutes per week, term time only, starting in November 2026. You will support planning, resource preparation, and pupil welfare, with strong ICT and behaviour management needed.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
• Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
• Good record keeping skills (progress and medical where required).
