Job summary

Newquay Junior Academy is seeking two caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant (SEND) to join our dedicated team. Qualifications

• Experience of working with children, ideally including those with Special Educational Needs.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
• Support children with a range of additional needs, adapting learning where appropriate.
• Work closely with class teachers and the SENDCO to deliver targeted interventions and classroom support.
• Be patient, resilient and nurturing while maintaining high expectations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
