Job summary

The successful candidate will work with students aged 16-19 with SEND, under the guidance of School Leaders, and will operate both in and out of the classroom with supervision during breaks and lunchtimes.

Induction training and ongoing support are provided. This role offers a clear pathway into teaching or specialist services for individuals with additional needs.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong interest in working with young people aged 16-19.
• Experience or interest in SEND support is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEND under guidance of School Leaders.
• Work with groups and individual students to meet learning needs both in and out of the classroom.
• Supervise students during breaks and lunchtimes.
• Embed effective support strategies into everyday classroom practice.
