Job summary

GLF Schools’ Southgate Primary School in Crawley invites applications for a SEND Learning Support Assistant on a permanent basis. You will work closely with teachers, families and external professionals to provide tailored support, promote independence and ensure all children access an engaging, inclusive learning environment.

The role requires GCSE English and Maths at C/4 or above, experience with significant needs, and a strong safeguarding ethos.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
• Experience with children with significant and complex needs.
• Ability to assist with pupils’ personal care and health care per school policy.
• Strong safeguarding commitment and welfare of children.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND to promote independence.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and external professionals.
• Support learning activities and adapt resources to individual needs.
