Job description

A large, welcoming school in Peterlee is seeking an experienced and confident SEND TA to start ASAP. You will be working with two pupils within KS2 who exhibit challenging behaviour. Ideally, candidates will be Team Teach or positive handling trained, but this is not essential. The role is full-time, five days a week, until the Summer for the right candidate. One of the pupils has an EHCP, and significant support is provided by the school.

To qualify for the role, you must have experience working with SEND pupils and a strong knowledge of managing challenging behaviour. The school will consider applications from candidates with a care background, provided they have experience working with challenging behaviour.
