Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a community primary school in the L23 area of Sefton. The role involves supporting pupils with a range of SEND, fostering learning, wellbeing and independence in a nurturing classroom environment.

The ideal candidate has experience with SEND, is patient, reliable and able to remain calm in challenging situations. You will collaborate closely with teachers and support staff to ensure every pupil's needs are met and

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND is essential.
• Confident supporting pupils with complex needs.
• Able to build positive relationships and remain calm in challenging situations.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting pupils consistently.
• Experience with Autism, communication needs or sensory needs or complex learning difficulties would be advantageous.

Contract: Full-time, long-term with potential for permanent placement

Milk Education is recruiting compassionate and experienced SEND Learning Support Assistants to join a community Primary school in the L23 area of Sefton

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience supporting children or young people with additional needs . The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting pupils with their learning, development, wellbeing and day-to-day needs.

• Available to work full-time from November 2026.
