An established educational institution is seeking a dedicated professional to support the Virtual School Head in ensuring compliance with educational duties for children with social workers. This role involves leading cases for children with EHC Plans and providing essential guidance on special educational needs. Grade: I £40,476 to £44,711 per annum

Contract: Fixed Term Contract for 1 year
You will support the Virtual School Head in ensuring Bolton Council fulfills its statutory duties related to the education of children with a social worker. Your responsibilities include providing guidance on identification, assessment, provision, review, and monitoring for looked after children and those with special educational needs. You will lead cases involving children with EHC Plans, offering advice to previously looked after children, those on Child Protection Plans, or at Child in Need. Additionally, you will be a key member of the SEND Board to raise awareness of children with a social worker.
Qualified to degree level with a relevant professional qualification (PGCE), QTS, and SENCO certification.
