Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is recruiting an experienced Job Coach for a permanent, full-time role in West Yorkshire within the Further Education sector. You will support learners with SEND to access work placements, develop employability skills and progress into paid employment.

Working with learners, employers and college staff, you will provide tailored job coaching, on-site visits and individualised support to overcome barriers. A current DBS is required, and travel to employer locations is needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience supporting young people with learning difficulties and disabilities (SEND).
• Previous experience in a support/mentoring/coaching role.”
• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with SEND to access work placements and employment opportunities.
• Visit learners in their workplace and provide on-the-job coaching and personalised support.
• Help learners develop job search and employability skills and workplace confidence.
• Monitor and assess learner progress, maintain records and personalised employability plans.
• Collaborate with employers, parents/carers and college staff to identify suitable opportunities.
• Support learners with reasonable adjustments and help overcome barriers in the workplace.
• Provide ongoing guidance as learners transition into paid employment.
• Work with the Supported Internship team and wider student support services.
