Job summary

Eden Brown Education is recruiting for a Job Coach in West Yorkshire. This full-time, term-time role supports young people with SEND to access work placements and paid employment. You will conduct on-site coaching, liaise with employers, carers and college staff, and help learners build employability skills.

The role requires experience with ASD and other SEND needs, a Level 2 Literacy/Numeracy, and a full UK driving license for travel between sites.

Qualifications

Extensive experience working with young people with learning difficulties and disabilities, including ASD.
Previous experience in a support, mentoring or coaching role.
Minimum Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy.
Full UK driving licence, with ability to travel to different employer locations.
Experience working with employers and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Support young people with SEND to access work placements and employment opportunities.
Visit learners in their workplace and provide on-the-job coaching and individualised support.
Help learners develop job search and employability skills; build workplace confidence.
Monitor and assess learner progress; maintain records and employability plans.
Collaborate with employers, parents/carers and college staff to identify opportunities.
