Mayflower Community Academy in the Learning Academies Trust is seeking an assistant to support SEND and inclusion efforts. This outward-facing role focuses on gathering pupil and family feedback, helping access SEND support and community opportunities, and creating clear communications and records of IMF-funded activity under SENDCOs.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS required
• Pre-employment checks and references
• Declaration of unspent convictions (post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974)

Responsabilités

• Gather feedback from pupils, families and staff on inclusive practice and SEND
• Help families understand and access SEND, inclusion and community opportunities
• Prepare clear, accessible communications using templates
• Maintain accurate records and evidence of IMF-funded activity
• Promote SEND and inclusion initiatives through websites and social media
• Develop links with services and community partners to support children and families
• Assist SENDCOs in collating information showing impact of inclusion and engagement activities
