Job summary

Mayflower Community Academy, part of the Learning Academies Trust, is seeking an IMF SEND, Inclusion & Engagement Assistant to support inclusive education and family engagement across the school.

You will work with SENDCOs, school leaders and families to showcase the impact of IMF-funded initiatives and strengthen communications. The role emphasizes safeguarding, confidentiality and building positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Engage with pupils, families and staff to gather feedback and pupil voice, helping to inform inclusive practice.
• Assist SENDCOs and school leaders by preparing clear, accessible communications and sharing learning from interventions.
• Maintain accurate records, case studies and evidence of IMF-funded activity to demonstrate impact.
• Support the promotion of SEND and inclusion initiatives through the school website, social media and other channels.
• Develop links with services and community partners to enhance support for children, families and families.
• Assist with collating information to show the impact of inclusion activities.
