Job summary

Paignton Academy is seeking a SEND House Liaison to ensure effective SEND provision and strong links between staff, families, and the SEND team. You will help coordinate interventions, maintain student SEND records, and act as a first point of contact for SEND-related queries within the designated House.

The role focuses on inclusive education, pastoral support, and collaboration across teams to meet the needs of students with SEND.

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to supporting young people with SEND.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and build relationships.
• Experience in an educational or pastoral setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for SEND-related queries within the House.
• Support the coordination and tracking of SEND interventions and provision.
• Maintain accurate student information and records relating to SEND.
• Strengthen communication between pastoral, teaching, and SEND teams.
• Work closely with families to support students’ needs.
• Help ensure the needs of SEND learners are consistently identified and met.
