SEND Graduate Teaching Assistant – Manchester
Are you a recent graduate with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs? A welcoming primary school in Manchester is looking for a SEND Graduate Teaching Assistant to work closely with pupils who require additional support. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a school setting and make a real difference in children’s lives.

*** Supporting children with special educational needs – 1-2-1 & small group work

The Role
As a SEND Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support children with a range of special educational needs across the school. Working both 1-2-1 and in small groups, your role will include delivering tailored interventions, supporting learning in lessons, and helping children to develop their confidence, communication and independence. You’ll work closely with class teachers and the school’s SENDCo to ensure every child receives the support they need.

The Candidate
This position is ideal for a graduate with a background in psychology, education, or a related field, who is considering a career in teaching or educational psychology. You should be empathetic, patient, and have a genuine passion for helping children with additional needs thrive. Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND is desirable but not essential.
