Job summary

TCHC Group in Watford is seeking an experienced Functional Skills Maths Tutor to support learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The role involves delivering Level 1 & 2 Maths in small groups, planning differentiated lessons, and tracking learner progress. Ideal candidates will have relevant teaching qualifications and experience with diverse learners. The position emphasizes safeguarding, engagement, and collaboration within the educational team.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work with high-needs students in a classroom setting.
• Experience teaching learners with various abilities or learning needs.
• Knowledge of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Entry Level 1-3 and Level 1 & 2 Functional Skills Maths in small group settings.
• Plan and differentiate maths lessons, maintaining records and ensuring learner progression.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance team and ensure adherence to policies.
