Job summary

Activate Learning Group in Banbury College seeks a dedicated SEND Job Coach to support learners with SEND on our Employability Programmes. You will coach, monitor progress, assess performance and help learners achieve their goals on-site, in a supportive, collaborative environment.

This fixed-term maternity cover comprises 17 hours per week across multiple Learning Companies, offering opportunities to develop coaching and mentoring skills while working closely with staff and external partners.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience working with young people with SEND.
• Ability to break down tasks and provide clear, structured instructions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to SEND learners in Employability Programmes.
• Monitor progress, assess performance, and guide learners to learning outcomes.
• Support across multiple Learning Companies as needed, on-site.
• Deliver coaching on-site rather than external WEX placements.
