Job summary

Henleaze Junior School, part of the Amplify Education trust, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with EHCPs or SEND, one-to-one or in groups. You will liaise with class teachers to set targets and plan activities, and record pupil progress to adapt lessons using your experience.

The role involves working within the Learning Support team, drawing on experienced colleagues, with enhanced DBS checks and flexible working options supported by the Trust.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with EHCPs or SEND.
• Ability to work one-to-one or in groups.
• Liaise with class teachers to set targets and plan activities.
• Proven ability to work as part of a Learning Support team.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with EHCPs or SEND in 1:1 or small groups.
• Record pupil progress and adapt lessons based on needs.
• Collaborate with the Learning Support team and classroom staff.
