Cheshire East Council is seeking a dedicated Care Worker to support children and young people with SEND in Crewe. You will deliver statutory assessments and develop EHCPs, working closely with families, schools and partners to secure the right support.

The role focuses on delivering high-quality outcomes, maintaining compassionate engagement, and contributing to a forward-thinking Children’s Social Care team.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure appropriate services and outcomes for children and young people.

Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate professional to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) across the Local Authority. In this rewarding role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality statutory assessments and developing impactful Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) that truly make a difference.

You will manage a caseload of children and young people, working closely with families, schools, and professionals to ensure the right support is in place for every individual to thrive.
