Job summary

Exceed Academies Trust in Bradford is seeking a SEND Administrator to support the SENCO and leadership team. You will help manage EHCPs, annual reviews, and tracking to ensure accurate records and timely communication for pupils with SEND.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality administrative support to the SENCO and senior leaders.
  • Maintain accurate SEND records, including EHCPs, reviews, provision maps and intervention tracking.
  • Support behaviour management and promote positive relationships.
  • Undertake general administrative duties such as filing, scanning, emailing and managing forms.
  • Ensure supplies of internal forms are kept well stocked and accessible.
  • Contribute to SEND processes and compliance within the team.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a SEND Administrator at Oastlers School.

The successful candidate will work closely with the SENCo, senior leaders and external agencies to ensure accurate record-keeping, timely communication, and smooth coordination of support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. This includes managing Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes, supporting Annual Reviews, and maintaining compliance with statutory SEND requirements.

The successful candidate will:

  • Support behaviour management and promoting positive relationship
  • Undertake general administrative duties and routine clerical support such as filing, scanning, emailing, ensuring supplies of internal forms are kept well stocked etc.
  • Have an understanding of SEND processes, including EHCPs and the SEND Code of Practice
  • Demonstrate a commitment to supporting vulnerable children and the ethos of an SEMH setting
